The 22nd International Galvanizing Conference, INTERGALVA 2009, was held in Madrid from 8 to 12 June. The event was hosted by Asociación Técnica Española de Galvanización (ATEG) in co-operation with EGGA. The conference provided a global forum for every aspect of the general galvanizing industry and was attended by over 440 delegates.

The Edited Proceedings of INTERGALVA 2009 include all conference papers and a record of discussion sessions. They provide a unique compendium of current knowledge in the metallurgy of galvanizing; developments in plant design; process control and markets for galvanizing.
